Interference problem.
I love the way this product works. It was easy to install, and the lasers are much better parking guides than the wooden beams we kept tripping over on the garage floor. HOWEVER, the transformer for the lasers generates enough radio interference that the garage door opener doesn’t always respond to our remotes when the lasers are on. We replaced our old opener, and called in the service people for the new opener, before we figured out what was going on. Now I have the transformer plugged into an extension cord, so that it’s about two feet from the garage door opener, and everything works fine.

Although the device performs as advertised, the time that the lasers are activated (approx 15 sec) is too short, especially when moving the car into the final position. If the time was adjustable, I would have given this product a much higher rating. Unfortunately, I now have to find another device for this application.

Works Great
Got this for my Parents for Christmas.
My Dad called me to say it ranks as one of the all-time great Christmas presents.
He and my Mom both love it, the motion detector turns on whenever the door is opened, or even just when you walk into the garage.
The laser stays on for about a minute after motion is detected.
They have aimed it so that the laser hits the center of the dash over the steering wheel, and when it falls off the dash it is time to stop.
Parking can now be very precise, without any worry of bumping stuff in the front of the garage or hitting the bumper with the door.

He says the battery backup is only good for a few minutes, like for a power failure (probably would not be able to open the door in that case anyways) but plugged in to house current it works great.

My parents have been raving about it so much I just bought one for myself.
