Awesome console for Uplander
I purchased this console for a Chevrolet Uplander 2008. For some reason GM did not include an option for a console between the two front seats and there is a serious shortage of storage compartments in the front seat area. It fit like it was made for the van. Nothing holds it in place other than the two front seats and the carpeting. The bottom of the console is cloth covered so it does not slide around once in place. Two drink holders in front and two in the rear for the middle seats work very well. I just think GM should have included it to begin with.

I love this thing!
We own a 1997 Quest. The cup holders for this silly van are built into the passenger seat and fold down, which means that after a few years it is no longer parallel to the floor and quite useless and often dangerous.

I bought this console unit based on the reviews and it really is great. It does get slightly in the way of the buckle for connecting and releasing if you have built-in arm rests (on my van at least) but nothing too annoying. It’s good quality, feel’s solid, and just the right size. A great buy.

Our Uplander did not come with a storage console and we needed one but felt we’d either have to settle for a cheap looking one, or have to spend an arm and a leg for one from the dealer. This console was reasonably priced, with roomy compartments and 4 cup holders! It has been a real blessing to have…especially on long car rides!
