Too small for plate
These holders are too small for Texas plates. Also, the metal is very thin, it bends very easily.

If you have to have something…
It’s ok. It’s nothing special. It is as skinny as it looks. I believe it will be sturdy and so in that way I guess it’s better than the plastic, car dealership version, but if I had tried it on for size and had the opportunity to return it to a store, I would. I’m glad it was only $5.

Useless…..
What good is it when it’s smaller than a license plate? This is true for California plates, isn’t the size standard. Also Amazon doesn’t state for all the license plates whether one or two come in an order. I had assumed two since two are required. I received one, so be advised. I’ve returned it. Atleast Amazon makes that simple.
